Pickering to and from Pearson Airport

Pickering is the closest major Durham Region community to Toronto Pearson (YYZ), sitting about 50 kilometres west along the 401 corridor. Most rides take 40 to 50 minutes in either direction from neighbourhoods near Liverpool Road, the Pickering Town Centre, or Rouge Hill.

Heading to the airport, your driver merges onto Highway 401 westbound near the Liverpool Road or Whites Road interchange. The highway passes the Rouge River and enters Toronto, continuing through Scarborough before the driver exits at Highway 427 south toward the Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 departure level on Level 3.

For Rouge Hill pickups, a shortcut uses Kingston Road westbound to Meadowvale Road and then the 401 on-ramp, shaving a few minutes compared to surface-street detours. Rouge Hill GO Station is also a convenient pickup point for travellers connecting from the Lakeshore East GO line. During heavy traffic, the 407 ETR via the Brock Road connector provides a reliable bypass.
